  • Manuscript structure

The manuscript should be consisted of the following order;

  1. Title page
  2. Extended abstract; keywords;
  3. Introduction,
  4. Materials and Methods,
  5. Results and Discussion;
  6. Acknowledgments;
  7. References;

 For Short Communications the same division of text applies with the no exception. For Review Articles, viewpoints the division of text is arbitrary

1-Title Page

Please use this template title page for providing the following information.

The title page should include:

2-Extended Abstract

Please provide a structured abstract of 250 to 350 words. The extended abstract is like a mini article which should be divided into the following sections:

  1. Introduction (stating the main purposes and research question)
  2. Methods
  3. Results
  4. Conclusion
  • Keywords

Please provide 4 to 6 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes.

*For Review Articles,  viewpoints abstracts may vary, but should not exceed 350 words.

3-Introduction

The introduction should serve as the readers with the background information needed to understand your investigation, and the reasons why you conducted your experiments. The Introduction should answer the question: what question/problem was investigated?

4-Materials and Methods

This section explains to the reader with all the details of how you conducted your experiment. You should:

  • Describe what you did in the past tense
  • Describe new methods in enough detail that another researcher can reproduce your experiment
  • Describe established methods briefly, and simply cite a reference (very important) where readers can find more detail.

5-Results and Discussion

  1. Every figure must be referred to in the text. Figures will be printed in black and white unless special circumstances demand the use of color. Figures. Figures should be high quality (1200 dpi for line art, 600 dpi for grayscale and 300 dpi for color, at the correct size). Figures should be supplied in one of our preferred file formats: EPS, PDF, PS, JPEG, TIFF, or Microsoft Word (DOC or DOCX) files are acceptable for figures that have been drawn in Word. See the example as the below:
  • In the Results section, simply state what you found, but do not interpret the results or discuss their implications. Use the past tense to describe your results; however, refer to figures and tables in the present tense.

Figure 1. Effect of Fe concentration in the nutrient solution on chlorophyll

  1. Every table must be referred to in the text. Tables are to be numbered with Arabic numerals in the sequence in which they occur. Tables. Tables should present new information rather than duplicating what is in the text. Readers should be able to interpret the table without reference to the text. Please supply editable files like this:

    1. Conclusion
  • In the discussion, the majority of the explanation should be focuses on the an interpretation of your results. Discuss what your results may mean for researchers in the same field as you, researchers in other fields, and the general public. Compare your results with those from other studies: Are they consistent? If not, discuss possible reasons for the difference.

Suggest the applicable finding of your experiment and how your findings could be applied.
